Teacher and peak oil expert Aaron Wissner sits down and answers some questions about peak oil and its impacts on the future. 

The 10 minutes published here are excerpts from an original 50 minute interview on peak oil and local sustainability, filmed on January 20, 2008.


Background

Aaron Wissner has taught public school students for sixteen years at all grades from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  He is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in mathematics and a minor in physical science.

Aaron is the founder and organizer of Local Future, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to saving Earth through cultural change.  In his spare time, Aaron writes articles, organizes education events, and gives presentations on issues of peak oil and sustainability.

Aaron lives in Michigan with his wife Kimberly and his newborn son Michael.
